"I appreciate the opportunity I have had to learn at #Edmaaj while receiving coaching and training from a highly experienced and professional team. I am eager to continue my experience as a part of this team working towards creating sustainable change in local communities."
Amy has a master's degree in the Middle East and Central Asian Security Studies. She spent the past several years teaching English in Azerbaijan and Kurdistan. She has always been eager to work in some capacity in the development sector in the MENA region. The position of Research Pioneer caught her eye because it allowed her to build her skills in research, technical writing, and analysis while working alongside talented and knowledgeable individuals who provided insight and guidance throughout the experience. She has enjoyed contributing to numerous projects for various actors, from corporates to NGOs to INGOs to government. Following her internship, Amy continued with Edmaaj as a Research and Business Development Officer, where she further developed her skills in project planning, development, and monitoring and evaluation while contributing to the team's impactful work.
